In 1986, I bought a Commodore Amiga. When I switched it on it was ready to go in a few seconds. Windows that overlapped were handled by clever hardware. It did not crash. It did not sit doing nobody knows what for minutes on end. Nowadays we have processors that are a whole lot faster, but somehow, maybe Bill Gates knows what is going on, everything takes an age and a half, even when you allow for it...
Why is Windows so slow?
A 20 year old Amiga is quicker! Come on Gates, what is your pathetic excuse?
