For a start, this stupid woman thinks that everyone in the country does the same as everyone else, and that we all drink to excess all the time. Some fools do, this fool doesn't.
Secondly, how did she imagine we would manage to have a "European style cafe culture" when we can not legally have European style cafes? If I want to go out to an affordable informal restaurant, and have a meal lasting the whole evening, and drink a little wine, I have to wait until I am on holiday in Greece. And that is the problem, because while they changed the law on when pubs can open, they didn't have the sense to see that cafes with no expensive liquor license are not allowed to sell me that single glass of wine that she is blathering on about.
And if a couple of the customers in a place that does have a liquor licence decide to play musical instruments for their own pleasure, even more stupid restrictive laws prevent that as well. Thanks to the Dear Leader for the hundreds of new restrictions he has put in place! Bless you Tony for making hundreds of knee jerk laws.
If I was into conspiracies I would think the Labour Govt want a lot of people too drunk to realise what the bastar*s are doing with the country and what is happening abroad. Hazel Bl. is just a fool who wouldn't even be able to run a pub let alone the counry.
