The scariest thing about Intelligent Design is the proposition that the creator is actually so stupid it designed human lungs that drain fluid from the top and not from the bottom.
Now that I come to think of it, that would indeed be very bad design...

Looked at Blade Runner the final version last night, and was thinking about Roy Batty's desire to have more life and went to his creator to get the process that was killing him and the other replicants still alive reversed and was told it was impossible...it made me think about our supposed creator and us...if a deity did create us and could have made us to last indefinitely, wasn't it bloody cruel not to do that, or was the deity just allowing evolution to take place, which eventually produced us with entropy bringing us to an end in a fairly limited time span?..but, if the deity did, as the story goes, create us to last and then put us into a paradise with a rebel eternal being and told us not to listen to it...wasn't that the bloody meanest act a deity could do to his completely innocent and trusting creations, namely naked apes? If intelligent design is the best the anti-evolutionists can come up, we're not in trouble...yet
