I drove one of these today, and quite enjoyed it...
What are those?
Alfas are a heck of a lot better these days than they used to be in the '70s and '80s.
Mind you, you could say that of almost any make now.
Is that the lastest Alfa??
Well, it's the latest, as far as I know... and it's a diesel. With a turbocharger. I still prefer my Freelander...
Did you test drive the Mito just for fun or with an eye for buying one I wonder??
Rumour has it that some of the interior switches that could possibly be Fiat Punto parts....shock and horror!! Others say it looks too much like A Daihatsu Copen.
We are an X Trail family and love that...well actually it's the dog mobile and they love it!
My wife just got it, actually. No, we aren't rich; her Mum left her some money, and we changed her Astra turbo-diesel for something prettier.
That's really nice for Mrs Walrus. I did the exact same thing when mum died. I got a new car...a Mini. My first ever brand spanking new car. Always seemed to have cars that were about a year (or older!!) old and to me it was the most fantastic thing to do!
I hope she enjoys the car ![]()
Don't tell anyone, but it's ex-demo with 3000 miles on it. Let people think we can afford new toys... She loves it, so I hope it behaves itself.
Nothing wrong with ex demo. My 2nd Mini was ex demo too....that also had 3,000 miles and was fully specced up to the hilt. I didn't like that one for a reason that I can't put my finger on and only kept it for a year.
The Alfa Romeo spider a wonderfull car its from the same family as the ferrari infact Fiat is from the same family as Alfa romeo so it doesnt have Fiat Parts it has Alfa parts or should that be Ferrari parts and the fiat gets the left overs
I get to drive it on Friday, as it is about to have its first service. Before that, I will take our son to school in it. He should like that...
theres only a slight hint of envy here from a life long Alfa Fan who covets the Brera ( the hard top version of the spider) and put of upgrading from his 147 due to his project with benjamy junior of grid.
Enjoy,
It is verrrry nice, but I still prefer my Freelander. I covet a Freelander 2.
Was it a toy? ![]()
Nice car.
