I had an email the other day, suggesting I might like to change my ISP to Be*. Would that be a way of avoiding being spied on by Phorm, I wondered? So I asked them.
Quick as unflash (about three days), back came the reply:
Thank you for contacting us.
I would like to inform you sir that BT is passing information about it's members browsing to Phorm, but we are not, nevertheless we have our own fair usage policy.
You can download or upload as much as you want 24/7 as long it is ligal.(we don't support noiligal, unlawful or criminal activities). For more information please contact us on 0808 --- ----.
Many thanks
Best regards
Be* Team
It doesn't exactly look professional, does it?

And is 0808 a very expensive number by any chance? (Actually it seems it's free - so you could call them for several hours to rack up their phone bills.
I was twice spammed by some car sales idiot yesterday, so amused myself by doing a large number of clickthroughs on their Google ads.)
